Meet Dr. Andrei Ionescu
Dentist In Thornton
Dr. Andrei Ionescu grew up in Michigan where he pursued his undergraduate education from Michigan State University. He then trained for his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Midwestern University in Chicago.
He continues to attend post-graduate courses to stay up to date on the latest dental technology, including facets of cosmetic and restorative dentistry and new techniques of oral surgery and endodontics. He also pursues extensive coursework in dental implant surgery. Dr. Andrei has volunteered in Kenya, Dominican Republic and Mission of Mercy to make a positive impact for those in need.
He enjoys the outdoors, particularly hiking and skiing, as well as cheering on the Michigan State Spartan teams. He also spent time overseas to become certified in mindfulness and yoga instruction. After spending most of his life in Michigan, he is happy to call North Denver metro his home in the last few years and continues to serve as an active member of the community.

This is a slight different but definitely needed review. From someone that works for this amazing office. I recently received some not so fun news and I have had to miss some work. The love and support that I have received from my Timber family has been touching. We all have busy lives outside the office but this group of people at Timber are hard working ,fun,silly,dedicated and most important caring. Choosing to be apart of this office and group of people is a blessing. They truly treat everyone like family and I promise you will feel the same. My appointment with Timber dental was absolutely amazing! I was greeted with smiles from every person I talked to! The inside is beautifully designed and definitely made me feel more comfortable than any dentist office I’ve ever been to! Tailer was my assistant, she made me feel at home by putting my favorite show on the TV. She was telling me jokes, asking questions about my life, and simply making me feel more than just another dentist patient. Dr. Andrei was very thorough with showing me my x-rays and giving me step-by-step priorities on my treatment plan. I absolutely love this place and will recommend everyone here! 1000/10!

I loved coming to Timber Dental and meeting with Dr. Andrei and all of his staff. Based on my prior less than desirable experiences I know how hard it is to find a trustworthy and knowledgeable doctor. That is why I was so thoroughly impressed by the level of professionalism and care that I received at this office. I also appreciated that they were able to accommodate me for an emergency appointment with a very short notice. I will definitely be back to address other dental work that needs to be done. Great experience at Timber Dental, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, very punctual. Dr.Andrei was very patient and explained me all the steps necessary to fix my cavities. The lady who cleaned my teeth, I think her name was Leah was very friendly and efficient! I really liked the fact that you can see in real time your X-ray and they do take photos of the teeth to show you which one have problems! The waiting area is very nice also. I would definitely recommend them.

My first impression is that I am so glad to find Timber Dental. They were able to help me with an emergency. I called and was in the chair within 30 minutes. Who else does that? What a great staff and I have no doubt that they will be able to help me. Finding a good dentist is not easy and I am very happy to find Dr. Andrei. My wife went to Dr. Andrei and was so impressed, that I had to check it out. We love Timber Dental.

Last time I saw a dentist was for a tooth extraction. Dr. Andrei rejuvenated my faith in dentists. He made me comfortable and explained everything that was going on and what was needed to address the issues. Explained in detail how to avoid more damage and improve my oral health. Will not go to anyone else! A++++

Dr. Andrei was super helpful and very friendly! After getting some X-rays and intra-oral photos done, he showed me and explained everything that he saw. He answered all my questions very professionally! He cares for his patients and makes sure that they are well taken care of. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is needing a great dentist! 🙂 Also he does an amazing job with crowns!

Wisdom tooth extraction that couldn’t have gone smoother. Almost zero pain and was incredibly impressed with the expertise in the office. All staff members were great and the follow up care was incredible. You have a patient for life.
